Rapid Paternity Testing was founded in 2007 by a team of forensic scientists who believed families deserved better than the cold, transactional experience that defined DNA testing at the time. We built the laboratory we wished existed, accredited from year one, committed to plain language and discretion, and structured around answering the phone with a real human.
Nineteen years later, we have processed more than 200,000 tests across 2,500+ collection sites and 90+ international embassies and consulates. We have testified in family courts, supported immigration petitions, returned answers to families separated by decades, and walked countless people through the hardest decision of their lives.
Through every change in the science and the law, the same principle has guided us: a paternity test is a moment in someone's life, not just a transaction. We treat it that way.

What our accreditations guarantee.
AABB
The American Association of Blood Banks (AABB) accreditation is the U.S. gold standard for relationship testing laboratories. AABB's Standards for Relationship Testing Laboratories govern every part of our process: accession, sample handling, STR analysis, statistical reporting, chain of custody, and quality assurance. Required by USCIS, accepted by every U.S. family court.
CLIA
Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments (CLIA) certification from the U.S. Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services. CLIA governs the federal quality standards for clinical laboratory testing performed on humans.
CAP
College of American Pathologists (CAP) accreditation. CAP inspections and proficiency testing programs verify that our laboratory meets the most rigorous quality standards in pathology.
ISO 17025
The international standard for testing and calibration laboratory competence. ISO 17025 confirms our processes are technically valid and our results are reproducible to global standards.
